XADO Motorsport Racing team began first test to prepare for 2012 season

Only two crews out of three, arriving in Alushta, made a start: Nikolay Chmykh and Aleksandr Vilchinsky from full drive category N4 failed to participate in the race – their car let them down. That is why racers were to watch the race as supporters. And there was much to support, as the things moved rapidly. Two crews, which remained in the ranks, took every effort and showed very effective competition.

The intrigue in U10 category was preserved nearly till the end. Stanislav Besedin with his navigator AleksandrDonskoy (last year Champions in category U9) fought for the title of the best till the last moment. However an unfortunate tire blowout prevented them at one of the special sections. Racers managed to drive to the finish line nearly with bare wheel disk; as a result they were runner-ups in this event of Ukrainian Cup lap.

The third crew of  XADO Motorsport team headed by Sergey Kostukov, which participated in category U9, according to the results of the season, has fought already from the start for the second place in the Ukrainian Championship. And the second place was successfully taken, as the third crew was the winner of the Alushta lap of the Ukrainian Rally Championship and  of the Cup event. Racers didn’t feel upset about the missed champion’s title, as it was their first full season in professional rally that is why the debut was more than successful.

However, despite all misfortunes, which followed XADO Motorsport team during the Alushta lap and last season, our team was not left without awards. According to the results of the year Kharkov team has taken the Ukrainian Cup!

This time XADO Motorsport has performed not in full strength (as the car of Nikolay Chmykh still needs more time to be renewed because of its fall-out in Yalta). Only two crews driving VAZ

2108 took part in the competition, but nevertheless our team managed to win four awards.

The crew of Stanislav Besedin became the best in U10 Class. His crew also managed to win a gold

medal of Cup of Ukraine which was held at the same time. The third award for Besedin’s crew was the

second place in 1600 Class of the CIS Friendship Cup.

Besides Stanislav, a new member of the XADO Motorsport team, Sergey Kostyukov participated in the

competition. Being a leader in its class the crew had to withdraw from the race half a kilometer

before a finish line because of a car breakdown. But they did manage to win a stage of Cup of

Ukraine. This result allowed the XADO Motorsport team to win gold in the team event.

XADO Motorsport was represented by three crews in Yalta this year. Two cars competed in N4 class and the third one performed in less powerful U11 class.

Nikolay Chmykh, who led with confidence on the first special sections, could become the best pilot in the whole racing.But fortune wasn’t on his side – the car fell out from the highway to the steep and Nikolay didn’t manage to finish. The good news was that the crew remained safe.

Inspite of the accident with Chmykh, the drivers of XADO Motorsport won the second team place, owing to the fact that Stanislav Besedin who had been driving his VAZ 2108 became the best in his class and the crew of Anton Kuzmenko managed to take the third place in N4 class.

We congratulate the drivers with their first victory this year and wish lots of success in future racings.

The team’s fleet replacement and the pilots’ promotion to the highest classes is the next step to compete for the championship of the Ukrainian Rally Cup.

The Cup 2011 is opening within the framework of the traditional rally “Chumatskiy Shlyach” on April 16 in Kherson. Six stages are planned in all.
